I have decided to join another free-to-join paid survey service: NFO MySurvey (Go to: NFO MySurvey). This one comes recommended by Kimberly over at Mom’s Break, a great site for 100s of free printables (iron-on transfer, cards and more). We have chatted several times and she states that she personally uses this service. I trust her opinion so I joined today.
Note: NFO MySurvey is a points based paid survey service. This basically means that you receive points, instead of cash or prizes, for participating in surveys. You can then redeem your points for rewards or convert them to cash (NOT a 1 to 1 ratio). I browsed through the reward prizes and the selection looks great! Plasma TV, golf clubs, electronics and tons more. Can’t wait to try this out!
The registration form was the longest I have ran into so far on one page (remember this is only my 3rd registration). It asked a lot of questions about education, income, career, household and more. I assume this is the information used to match or qualify me to surveys. Even with all the questions, it only took 2-3 minutes to complete.
As with the rest, the “Welcome” email followed instantly. This email was different than the rest. I had a confirmation link that required me to click to confirm my membership. I am not sure the purpose behind this but I like the added sense of security. Upon confirmation I was asked to login to the Member’s Area. After doing just that, it prompted me with another short form. This form was targeted to get additional information about the other person that lives with me. Just so you know, I told them that 1 other person lived in my household during registration and you can only assume that if you had said 4 or 5 then there would had been one form for each additional person.
Once the form was completed, I was presented my first survey. I was a 10 point instant survey, but it is at least something to make me get involved in the service. I will fill out this survey in a little while.
