Survey Club (Go to: Review, Survey Club site) was one of the paid survey services that actually came very highly recommended from a close friend. It was the first service that I had joined; however, I have yet to get even a single survey from them.
About 2 weeks ago, I got an email stating that they were looking into why I was not getting any surveys. Honestly, I thought the email was just a ploy to make me feel better. However, I got this email today:
Hi,
I did some more digging and I think I figured out why you haven’t received any
survey invitations yet. It seems that our notification system is saying that the
emails being sent to you by our survey system are bouncing for some reason.
If you have received this email from me, then chances are the survey invitations
are being blocked for some reason - either by your ISP, your email provider, or
your spam filtering system. But first let’s make sure your email is correct …
This is GREAT NEWS! I have updated my email and hopefully the surveys will start rolling in!
I got an email today from my “account manager” at Survey Club (Go to: Review, Survey Club site). It stated that “I noticed you haven’t been invited to participate in any surveys yet - and I’m looking into that for you right now.”
Well I like that they realize that I have not qualified for anything. This email also makes it appear that it is unsual for me NOT to have qualified for anything yet. Maybe there are some new paid surveys coming my way soon.
Within minutes of submitting the free registration form for Survey Club, I got an email confirming my membership. The email stated that they “highly recommend” I login and bookmark the member’s page. I was excited because it seemed things were going to get started right away.
I logged in to find a message saying that within a few days my profile would be added to the database and then I would be eligible for paying surveys. Personally, I was put off by the “hurry up and wait” email that I got; however, I won’t hold that against them.
This “Welcome” email also had a link to a page that gave me a list of the top 25 Survey Sites. I am going to investigate this farther to see if these are real survey sites or just a marketing ploy from them to make money while I wait in the system. Seems weird to promote 25 of your competitors to your new clients, but maybe there is no conflict of interest. I will try to find out.
Well I am going to find more Paid Survey Services to join.
