Paid Surveys Exposed - Tips and Tricks of How to Earn Money with Paid Surveys

Survey Networks Registration July 3rd, 2005 @ 2:26 pm

Ok, paid survey service #5: Survey Networks (Go to: Review, Survey Networks site). Just for signing up for this service I got entered to win a BMW Z4! So far, so good. The registration form was the typical form gathering all your personal, education and background information.

On the front page, they also offer for you to join several other paid survey services. Again, it catches me off guard to see one service promoting others. I consider them competitors, but I guess if they are all after my opinion then anyone can get it. Some of these offers are to networks that I am already and member and some are to ones I haven’t joined yet, but plan to.

The form goes to a second page again with more detailed questions and more offers at the bottom. Then a third with more questions and offers. Then a 4th page with just questions.

After this page, things got a little weird. The next page contained search results about information and I had selected on a previous page. Not offers or anything like that just search results. I am pretty sure these are search results that the company will get some kind of kickback for showing you. Which is perfectly fine if they show you something you really want to see. I didn’t care about the search results and was a little confused because at first I didn’t see the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page. I had to traverse about 6 pages of different search results based on 6 different questions that I had answered earlier. At the end of the tunnel, it stated that I had been successfully entered into the Sweepstakes. I guess that they have to get enough information to justify the prize and I can assure you that a BMW Z4 would be well worth that survey!

Note: That confirmation page also said: “While you’re here, here’s another survey you can fill out to enter to win $50,000 Cash.” Since I had already entered all my name, address etc. I figured I would do it. Type once and enter two sweepstakes? Sounds good to me.

This survey was basically the same: personal preference questions (some repeats from previous survey) and offers for entries, information and/or samples. I read the screen that asked me to do the “Personal Search” and I just said none. This time I did not get any search results and it resulted in me being successfully entered to win $50,000 Cash.

This page also asked if I wanted to continue and get entered into a sweepstakes for a Lexus RX330! I don’t have the time but will try to come back for that.
